Privacy Statement for Preferred Interiors Enterprises

Preferred Interiors Enterprises is posting this Privacy Statement in order to demonstrate the Company's firm commitment to guarding your privacy. Our goal is to provide our current and potential customers with the best information we can to help us meet their needs and expectations.  At the same time, we have a deep respect for personal privacy and wish to use such information only for your benefit.

This Privacy Statement explains our practices concerning the collection and use of customer and online information at the present time.  Practices may change over time as new technologies become available and our needs change, and Preferred Interiors Enterprises reserves the right to modify or amend this Privacy Statement at any time, in its' sole discretion.  Any changes to this Privacy Statement will be posted here.  Preferred Interiors Enterprises is not obligated to transmit revised Privacy Statement information to you by any other means, or to notify you that our privacy policies have changed.  It is your responsibility to check this page from time to time to insure that you still agree with and accept our then current privacy policies.

What information we collect online

In order to continually improve our website, we do study how people use it, and which areas are popular and meaningful.  Our website uses third party provided counters that also obtain aggregate information in the background about your visit to our site; including site statistics and transaction information.  Such information may include, but is not necessarily limited to; your IP address, type of operating system, connection speed, brand of browser software, screen resolution, date and time of visit, pages visited, pages revisited, length of time spent on each page, etc.  Although we log domain names and/or IP addresses, please keep in mind that such information is analyzed only in aggregate and is not personally identifiable.  We do not collect your email address.  Additionally, we may use this information to schedule routine maintenance and aid our hosting company in diagnosing problems with their server. 

Our website uses an interactive Locker Information Survey form that allows potential customers to request information about our services via the internet.  Information from that form is used to send prepare and forward quotes and other information about our company to such potential customers. The customer's contact information is also used to get in touch with the visitor when necessary.  

Our website also provides an interactive form for visitors to use in recommending our site to their friends.  Their friend will receive an email that contains the name of the referring party.  We will also receive a copy of the email providing such reference.  We do not contact any individuals or companies to whom our website is recommended unless and until we are specifically requested to do so by that third party.

Many of the interactive forms we provide gather both required and optional information. Required information is indicated by a red asterisk on the entry form.  By choosing to participate in our information gathering processes or to provide optional information on interactive forms; you allow us to provide more effective technical support, surveys, product and service notices, and information that we believe will be of value to you.

What types of information we do no collect

Preferred Interiors Enterprises does not follow your browsing activities outside of our site. 

We do not collect your e-mail address except where you elect to so provide it on various
interactive forms that may from time to time appear on our website.
  

We do not place "cookies" on your computer.

How we use the information we do collect

We do not and will not sell or give our client list to any other party.  All client information stored by Preferred Interiors Enterprises is kept either in our accounting software on a computer that is not connected to the internet, or in paper form in the Company's main office.  Any stored information is considered proprietary business information and so treated.

Although customer information is available in our files, we do not maintain a mailing list for the purpose of email or newsletters.  We currently do not anticipate creating or forwarding newsletters or the like.  

While this list may not be all inclusive, we use the information you provide us to analyze our general customer base; generate sales quotes; accept and administer orders; schedule work to be completed; collect monies due; administer basic accounting functions; comply with insurance regulations; and comply with national, state, and local government regulations.  We may, although we are not obligated to do so, use this information in the development of new or improved products or services.

How we use e-mail

Our website does not automatically collect your e-mail address, however, we may from time to time solicit your input about our site or our products and services via interactive forms or e-mail links.  Your use of such links and/or completion of e-mail fields on interactive forms is completely voluntary at your sole discretion.  If you choose to provide your e-mail address; we may use it to communicate with you, but we will not do so if we have been notified that you don't want us to.  If you don't want us to use your e-mail address, you may follow the procedures outlined in the Choice/Opt-Out section immediately below.  Responses to visitors via e-mail are made to e-mail addresses specifically provided by those visitors and in response to specific requests for information.  We do not maintain a mailing list of e-mail addresses, send out newsletters, or utilize "spam" e-mail.  We do reserve the right at some future point to do a direct marketing campaign utilizing a third-party opt-in list of e-mail addresses targeted to our specialized market.

How to opt out of future communications

Various interactive forms and e-mail links are provided as a service to our customers and potential customers.  Visitors to our site are under no obligation to utilize any of the interactive forms or email links so provided.  Accordingly, our website provides users with the opportunity to opt-out of communicating with us at the point where we request information, thus precluding any communication back to them on our part.  

Subject to filing requirements of the Internal Revenue Service, state taxing authorities,   various state and federal agencies, and generally accepted accounting principles; customers or visitors also have the following options for removing previously submitted information from our database or to halt additional communications from us.
